This 2nd Mini-Episode of "Caravan", Cor travels to Costa Rica to catch up with Spider... Things do not go as planned.

This on going series will follow the adventures of 25 people in the Sustainable Solutions Caravan from San Francisco to Costa Rica in vehicles powered by veggie oil.

While the show explores issues of sustainability and alternatives to petroleum it is more of a story about an epic adventure and the tribulations and joys involved in bringing a dream in to reality.

"Caravan" will eventually be released as a feature length documentary.

  • Fantastic, you took a remarkable travel and adventure with social relevancy and made it utterly absurd and uninteresting--with strangely distracting graphics and transitions effects to boot! Great job.

  • I liked it, it could've been less a video diary and more of a video documentary..great haircut by the way, the whole concept has potential... some of the scenes are a bit blurry at times, and the filter effects on the people's faces, has to go...unless they did not want to be identified, it really looks bad.. sound is pretty good, more video of the scenery and less of your cute face...

  • This Particular Episode is called "Not as Planned" because so many things did not go as planned. I lost my first camera person, and the footage from my 2nd camera person was lost in a fire. All I had left was my personal journal video. That's why it is the way it is. I used video filters to obscure some identities it looks cool in full resolution but with compression it is not nearly as nice.

    Future episode have better production value as I move behind the camera, and manage to keep my best footage from being consumed in unforeseen fires.

    So bummed that the rest of the footage got lost. But at least you still have the footage from the caravan. I like the diary style thang, but I think that a bit more scenery or just tightening it up overall would be more effective.

    Also, I don't mind the dip to color dissolves, but I think they should be used more sparingly- when transitioning between ideas rather than between every shot. They're just distracting that way.\

    Exciting stuff, though! Its great to see this come to life!
