This is a pod offering two ideas for how you can effect change: spoil your ballot paper or go and stand yourself! The pod includes interviews with Simon Naylor, Grimsbys newest Green Candidate as he stands for the first time.
Created by Sean and Matt using Final Cut Pro and AKM Music
(Sean is a member of the Green Party)

it seems strange voting for your own pod, but after reading some of the forums I dont feel quite as bad and I guess if I didnt want it showing on TV I shouldn't have uploaded it! :)

If you don't vote, you can't complain, so go vote, like Sean says, even if you 'spoil' the ballot paper with 'none of the above' it will honour those who fought for the electoral system, even if you feel it is flawed.

Great Pod, you have my vote, well done

Greenlighting because you're a good man coming from a good place!
Sean, you know me and my weird ways. I'm a Libertarian/Free marketeer and as such I'm against giving credence to a system that causes nearly all of our woes in the first place. I like to vote every day with the money I spend on the goods and services I approve of not once in a blue moon for people who do not hold all of my opinions and participate in a system that forcibly steals from me and spends my money on things I disapprove of.
I wholeheartedly agree with you on one point -- spoiling my vote -- something I always do to satisfy my own conscience even though I know for a fact they are binned anyway (surprise surprise).
Lastly, I believe that concepts of democracy are not worth fighting for, yet freedom and liberty are. Democracy is falsely revered and an intrinsically flawed dogma that we are sold as being noble by people who best manipulate it. It is succinctly explained as; "Two wolves and a sheep deciding on what's for dinner".
Great Pod.

GL, definitely. i don't agree with everything you say - but that's irrelevant, this is a great pod that airs an important topic.
if i'm honest, i'm pretty lazy when it comes to voting - mainly because i have little faith/interest in politics (despite all the arguments as to why i should be). but even if they do go in the bin, i'm half tempted the next time there's an election to spoil my ballot and write none of the above...
