  • This is the best thing i have seen in my whole life with art. A contest by only using black markers. its the only thing that i could wish for. I hope they would have something like this in NYC. There should be one there since they opened up 5POINTZ along the 7 subway line in Queenz, NYC. Or they should have it in THE BRONX, NYC since i have seen the 2 train graffitied in the past! Including the redbird trains. ^^
  • Great piece on an often neglected or demonized form of art. Thanks for a refreshing piece on street art!

  • That was fantastic! I have a great appreciation for graffiti/street art. It''s underrated. I don''t think many people understand the talent that goes into it.

  • Wow...that was just sheer unleashing of talent. I've never seen a crowd so worked up about someone drawing a picture before! Great stuff. Don't know if I could go up against a friend like that, though. Cool video, very well-made - forgot I was watching it through a screen!

  • Great pod... There is a presence of short time throughout the entire piece that makes the audience aware of the challenge of creating a work of art so quickly. The lighting is beautiful, def spotlights the artwork and while the rest of the room is dark, it gives it that underground, anti-mainstream feel.
  • Great pod i wish there were more events like this to show people that graf art is not all gang tags and deviants. It can also be done tastefully and respectfully. I mean who is really cares if some tags their name over the phone companies logo on a pay phone. I’m not saying that graf art should be made legal so it’s every where. I just think that cities should designate places around town as free expression area and try to educate people on the ethics of graffiti.

  • This is the sweetest pod I have ever seen. Seriously, I have not watched a cooler pod yet. I love tagging and I love art and I love drawing, and this is awesome. I wish I could be there in person SO BAD. Freaking legit job dude.

  • The thing that makes a good piece a great piece is liveliness and flare. Both of these have both. The varying line thickness and depth of the picture are really used to gfreat effect

    Nice Pod

  • Dope. A Graf battle black marker white paint is nice. Next is choice of color w/ white, then two and white. This can get huge.

The pic is raw. battles should be done w/o sketch, I believe, but a great piece was still born regardless.

  • Tight pod! I remember LA graff artist, Kofie, battled it out live at the Hip Hop Stole Christmas SP event in 2000. It was real huge in SoCal back in 2000.
