Kaj Evan and I will be attending the Machine Gun Shoot. We are attempting to find out what place guns have in modern society. This will be a portrait of Americans and the deep-rooted right to bear arms. This is a pro gun event so we have no intention on doing any Michael Moore angels. Instead I would like to analyze what gun pride in America means.

I can't get past the fact that guns kill people. To my mind, any twist on an American deep rooted right to bear arms has been forfeited long ago. If my kid rides his bike in the street... I take the bike away. End of story. Our childlike national psyche has been riding it's bike down the middle of the 'Handgun-Highway' for WAY too long now. Nuff Said.

Microstamping is REAL!Gun manufacturers will start microstamping in 2010. This should slow down the killing. Ask the folks down at the MACHINE GUN RALLY if they'd be cool with a law like that in their town. -

I love the smell of Napalm in the morning!So right now Adam, Evan, and I are sitting in Buffalo Wild Wings just outside of Louisvile Kentucky. Its the only place around with wi-fi. We spent the last two days shooting (the other kind) people shooting. It was a wild event. I think this is a case where a few pictures are worth a thousand words, so here is a little preview of what you'll be seeing in our pod. -
