Wow. Makes you think twice about feeling too sorry for this guy.
It's also a little bit disconcerting - the fact that "fame" is so much easier to achieve, thanks to you tube, might indicate that we'll be seeing more and more people trying to do stunts for the attention. It used to be they had to be a little bit nut-so to go the lengths necessary to get caught by the networks to be "famous" (think John Hinkley trying to assassinate Ronald Reagan to impress Jodie Foster), but with internet celebrity...pick up a video camera, and anyone can do it. One example where lowering the bar to participation is not a good thing. - 4 years ago
