  • I didn't quite understand the point of the pod. Is it a music video? I do see the satire in the images with all the women working. I like the voice and the portraits, but the video is a bit confusing...maybe some title cards with your point would give more insight.
    Keep trying. Maybe some different chimey shots??

  • I guess why this is confusing is that the video is attempting to be an ad for the CD as well as trying for social commentary. Either do a music video to sell the CD or use the track to underscore the disconnect between the haves and have nots.

    The song makes me think of the stereotype of the upwardly mobile fifties woman with few options who could only snag a rich man to get ahead. So are we celebrating working women? If so I don't think this quite does that which is probably why it's confusing.

    Of course, I might have missed something and could be entirely wrong...
