A short documentary about the miracle of a family gathering in a Holocaust survivor's life. Murray Goldfinger, my grandfather, was born in Poland in 1926. When World War II broke out, he was separated from his family and taken to several work-camps until he ended up at Auschwitz. Subsequently, he went on the death march to Buchenwald, where he was liberated in 1945.

He has three daughters and five grandchildren. He refers to us five grandkids as his "five-million dollars."

    That was really touching. The interweaving of the thanksgiving dinner and the holocaust story was very effective and gave it a strong emotional quality.

    I like how you didn't tell us it was your own grandfather except in the description.
