A group of teens from Nashville, TN explore, reflect and honor the past, on a trip to Key West, FL where they dove on the site of the Henrietta Marie, visited the Mel Fisher Musuem and cleaned up a African Cementry on Higgs Beach.

  • Green Light. It is a very emotional video that addresses a very important issue: Past and present in relation to our roots and "culture"

  • Excellent beginning, engaging and emotional.

    I think the music was too loud and should have been faded down fairly early on and kept low until after Bill Murrain interview. It's ditracting from the very powerful words that are spokem, and if the music was a little lower I think those words would sink in better. Bring it up again for an emotional ending, but don't let it take away from the true power of the story you're telling here, which isn't about the music.

    The compass being "turned back to Africa" and the "touching your ancestors" was especially powerful, but almost drowned out.

    This should be on TV, thanks.

  • I think there's a good story in here, but I'm not sure what it is. There are lots of characters and history, but it's an overwhelming hodge podge right now. And the audio mix needs a little work -- sometimes that song overpowers the speakers. Try using more than one track.

    PS - Really fantastic toupee that guy has (about 40% thru)

  • This was a great start, but I also agree with Gabe that there is too much going on. I wanted to know more about what the achaeologists found under water, I feel like I missed something, I also felt like the part about the kids going on a field trip got dropped in the middle as well. This is an important topic, it just needs some polishing.
