Teenager Mychal Bell was released on bail, after prosecutor said he would not try him as an adult. So what about the others. The article says that under Louisiana law 17-years-old means that you are tried as an adult. The others were 17 when they battered victim, Mychal was 16. Therefore, he can't be charged as an adult. Finally we can see the law working how it should. However,he still faces juvenile court charges. Does this level the playing field as the article says? What would? What do we want the outcome to be?
