Dub Ya War documents the Dont attack Iraq protests in London 2003-2006. Mixed live to dub-reggae music with use of ambient sound from the marches and a hard hitting visual style.
The film is mixed down live using VJ techniques to a dub-reggae soundtrack performed by Prodical and covers 6 London protests , before during and after the war in Iraq 03. Interspersed with the protest footage is Prelinger archive cold war propaganda, remixed to give a different meaning 50 years later. Textual information provides another layer of meaning and underlines the documentary basis of the film.
Shown as film at Tate Gallery London May 07
Performed live at
Tate Britain gallery London 01 Jun 2007

I think this could be shortened and somehow made to feel like less of a music video somehow. I gave it the greenlight and am counting on Current staff to tweak it or have london dude do a little work on it before it is ready for TV.
