Jaime Sommers is nothing but a hard-working woman juggling work as a bartender, the responsibility for the care of her younger sister, Becca, and her relationship with her boyfriend, Will. Although she does not have much, Jaime has always enjoyed being as normal as any other human being. However, this all changes when she is hit by a car and seriously injured. Her only hope becomes an experimental and top secret procedure, but, as Jaime soon discovers, this salvation comes at a high price.

  • I'll watch anything that has to do with super heroes so I gave Bionic Woman a try. Haaaated it.

    All of the character development (or lack of) felt so forced. Some of the scenes just made me think of producers saying "oooh lets do a montage of her sad, like staring in the mirror at her new robot body or crying in the shower, and then lets make her all bad-ass in the next shot jumping off rooftops...oh, and lets use that song they play during the series finale of "Six Feet Under"

    I thought the main actress was terrible and the entire episode was rushed. One minute, she is confused and afraid, and then all of a sudden, she is jumping off buildings and doing martial arts. No motivation. This is the same reason why "Heroes" sucks. If you're going to do an entire show about a super hero, you need to develop them as a character FIRST and then add the 'super' part later. I was bored throughout the entire episode.
