Ok this is seriously the stupidest thing I've ever heard. The fact that Jessica Simpson, and othrers like Justin Timberlake are attempting to be country is shocking but also kind of dissapointing. What is happening to the country music we know and love? It's not just the music, it's the heart and soul that goes along with it. Just because you can sing a country song, it does not make you country. People think that she will do great just because she's from Texas! I mean, do you think we are all from Texas and spend our days on our horses in cowboy hats & jeans? Well, I think that the only people buying this so-called "country" album of hers will be sick-minded guys who love to see her dance around in revealing clothes and a cowboy hat or people who think they love country, but don't really know what it means to really be country. It makes me sick. That's just my opinion, but if there are really any true country music lovers out there, you will too be against the crossover of artists from pop & rock to country.

Jessica Simpson is about to record a country album. And Willie Nelson is possibly involved. According to her dad/manager, Joe Simpson, that's the plan. Willie and Jessica met while filming "The Dukes of Hazzard" in 2005. Jessica is busy on a film project now, so we may have to wait awhile before the country project gets underway.
