On 7th March 2007, a 60 year old woman was sentenced to 250 hours of community service and fined £1000 for being found in possession of and growing cannabis. She remained defiant, saying the cannabis helped alleviate a number of medical complaints.

    This is absolutely rediculous! The government has taken this way too far, and we need to change our laws like the rest of the world. It is horrible to see this kind of devistation caused by the large pharmaceutical companies paying off government officials to constantly vote down marijuana decriminalization. Its time to take a stand against this!

    wow! i wish i saw her whole cookbook! she said she only did .1 grams 5x a day. so .5 grams a day...VERY minuscule, if anything thats healthy! So they are prosecuting her for living a healthy life. I bet she'll live till 200.
