There's no RIGHT answer, no simple solution--not one single opinion. Teach for America is that service program that attracts the best of the best college graduates to serve as teachers in some of the toughest classrooms in our country--minutes after the ink on their diplomas are dry.
Is Teach for America good for its teachers, classrooms, schools, students and indeed our country as a whole? Show and tell us your personal perspectives on this programme which has carved out a significant place in our country's service community.

Teach For America is a pretty amazing project put togther by a really driven group of people. I've worked for TFA in an administrative cacapcity (albeit a few years back) and I thought that the motivation behind the organisation was amazing. I think anyone who enters into the program with an open mind will have a positive experience and impact the community in which they live and work in a positive way. The work TFA does in rural areas in particular is really valuable.
