I'm producing a pod on microfinance and technology. The initial focus of the piece centered around the work of Tapan Parikh and his CAM project

I'll be interviewing Unitus CEO & President Geoff Davis tomorrow morning, and his story will be told along with Tapan's....I'm deep into editing now, and should have my post production complete within a few days.

This has been a very interesting pod to produce, and I can't wait to share it with the Current audience.

    looking forward to seeing the piece. I'd worked on a piece on microcredit in bangladesh, and interviewed Muhammad Yunus, who's oft called the father of microcredit. curious to see what you've come across.

  • The success rate of microfinance organizations in countries like India still blows my mind. And adding affordable, or free, technology to that is a huge step forward. Can't wait to see this piece.

    Adam- My first encounter with microfinance was actually your piece back when it first aired. Awesome spot! I wasn't able to travel for this one (licensed footage used instead) but hopefully someday I'll be able to visit India...
