3 Sweeps! Good Grief Charlie Brown. For a guy who has watched the NL West all year you'd think that I would've given the D-Backs and Rockies a little more credit. Still it was tough to bet against the line-ups from Chicago and Philli that just didn't come through. In the west we are left with 2 winning losers. 2 teams with good pitching, "timely" hitting and a bunch of guys who would have to pay extra to rent a car because they aren't 25 yet. My choice for the World Series is Arizona. Webb looks unhittable and I think the home field advantage will do them well. This series will be a boring 6 games, with the winner going on to lose the Series. Side note: anybody catch a glimpse of the Massive Human being named Tony Gwynn while watching TBS? This guy was always a power hitter but good lord. He looked like Violet in Charlies Choco Factory after she blew up to gigantic blueberry porportions. I love you Tony & actually think youre a great commentator. Maybe the cameras added some weight.

Then there is the AL. Well the Red Sox look good but not great. They played against an Angels team that was riddled with injuries and really didn't look good at all. That said, the Bahston Red Sox are starting to look like the World Series favorite. Lets look at what they have going for them...
1. Game 1 - Beckett wins this game against either teams 2nd ace
2. Yankees/Indians tired and have their bullpens depleted from battling to stay alive.
3. Home Field advantage
4. Clutchability. Which is can only be trumped by Yankee Spirit.
So tonight's game is a big one. I don't know why the Indians have choosen Bryd to pitch tonight. Well i do but I disagree strongly. This Yankee team is starting to hit the ball and that makes anything possible, especially when playing in the Bronx. I'm think NY tonight and to take the series but I'm not logging into Bodog or anything. -
that picture looks more like "One Suit; Five Tony Gwynns"
