  • Beautifully shot! I love the time lapses and the use of stills. It's a great portrait of Edward.

  • Fantastic piece! You did a great job of using still photographs, sometimes that doesn't work very well in a pod format, but this was outstanding. I grew up in SLC, Utah and a lot of my gay friends struggled with this issue. Thanks so much for uploading to Slamdance.

  • I really love this piece, the editing is so complicated, but takes a back seat to the content. Very well done, this is my favorite of the work I've seen you create. Keep it up!

  • "What's the frequency, Kenneth?" is your Benzedrine, uh-huh
Butterfly decal, rear-view mirror, dogging the scene
You smile like the cartoon, tooth for a tooth
You said that irony was the shackles of youth
You wore a shirt of violent green, uh-huh
I never understood the frequency, uh-huh
You wore our expectations like an armored suit, uh-huh

  • Nice portrait, I feel like you get to no him deeply in a short amount of time. Couple of suggestions. You have unfettered access to some really great music that helps explain the character, I would have liked it if more of it was used. Sometimes, the attempts at presenting the footage in a different way fail, specifically with the small pictures the first time we see them (Then again, Current has no full screen option, so it was small to begin with) and the movie theater which just seemed out of place. But I am nitpicking. I love the style and the the emotional response that it evokes and I love the conflict between faith and human nature which seems to be a huge issue for this generation. Great work.
