The headline on this video says that Senator Fred Thompson looked "Shaky," during his first GOP debate, but I thought he looked silly. His tie was too tight and his head looked too big and his answers seemed contrived and weird. Who knows maybe this type of swaggering from the actor will appeal to the Republican base, but if Thompson wants to compete maybe he should stick with pithy ironic YouTube videos to conduct his campaign.

    • How he looks shouldn't matter but inevitably does. I thought he was a doofus for stating the american economy is, and I quote, looking "rosey" for the next ten years. It's not even rosey right now, let alone ten years from now. Not that competance or honesty has anything to do with winning a presidency or not. I'm inclined to fear he can stupid his way right into office. It worked just "rosey" for Dubya and still works for him every single day so who's to say 'Big Hickory' can't do the same exact thing?

      Who the hell cares about his tie and how big his head is?
      Or did you prefer to focus on Al Gore's makeup in the first debate? Or how stiff he was?

      It's one thing that you didn't like Fred's answers.
      It's another to trash him for how he looked. The later is juveline at best stupid at worst.
