Five months in jail for a S.F man who killed an ostrich called Gaylord, after it kicked him.

Really? You trespass in the middle of the night on an ostrich farm and don't expect to be attacked? And then to go back and shoot it? 7 times? Sounds like some anger management classes are in order!

Sheesh. That thing looks like it could take seven bullets without flinching, then scream some horrible Godzilla noise and rend your soul from your still-twitching corpse.

Family Vacation '91 We were in Texas, we visited this Safari Zoo, where you were allowed to drive out on marked roads, where all the animals were just wandering around. When we decided that we had a good spot, we turned off the car and watched as several ostriches proceeded towards us. They all ended up sticking their heads in the window. It was weird. That's all I got.
