Apparently most men seem to focus on the groin area when looking at other men. So guys...is it true? Do we check out the competition?

  • Because most ballplayers wear cups their nether regions should all look similar. Wouldn't think that the results would've came out this way. Yes indeed, very interesting....

    I don't think this is completely fair. I think when people are wearing tight clothing, I tend to look at them all over anyway, whether I'm interested or not. Maybe men just look more closely when there's tight clothing in front of them? I'd like to see a study of how much crotch viewing happens when checking out this guy.

    By using a sporting figure, the study is inherently flawed (unless there are data samples from various pictures of men / women). Anyone who has played sports is trained to only look at the hips when guarding a player, and the face / head has nothing to do with the physics of a swing, so guys may be looking at who is at bat ... and also ... the form of the at bat.

    I would postulate that a majority of the women were indeed looking to the face to guage attractiveness, while there were a mix of guys checking out the equipment, but also just seeing how the player is positioned in his swing.

    anyway ... just can't stand flawed statistics that pass for science on the net these days.
