If the government wants to eavesdrop, they need to get people to vote on it.

i have nothing to hide either, but i still have a problem with the fact that there's no real privacy now. good point reminding us that this is a democracy - "they're" the ones who need the reminding, eh?

Ease dropping? NO. It is my right to privacy no matter if I have something to hide or not. Next our children will be turning us into the leaders for speaking our mind...
This goes against every grain of my being. The United States needs to calm down and start paying attention to the rights of the individuals again. This President and Vice President need to be sent to jail for the crimes they are commiting. Yet why are they being allowed to keep up with all the law breaking while congress just shakes its head. STOP BUSH. Please. -
Just because you have nothing to hide doesn't mean that you should be OK with the government spending YOUR MONEY to watch you.
These behaviors of wiretapping innocent citizens and illegally demanding phone records from cell phone companies are NOT democratic, they're fascist. -
First of all, the USA is a republic.
There's apparent validity in your insistence that wiretapping should be set in motion upon a vote. That makes sense.
Then again, I don't know who that vote would be extended to, but I think anything that we citizens have been THOROUGHLY INFORMED ABOUT and that has been chosen by us on PAPER by all means represents what we want.-
