A 8 minutes cutdown of a 52 min film documentary "The Point of Origin" on Australia's aboriginal culture ( 50 000 years old). The entire australian continent was crossed from south to north for the making of the film, The aboriginals of Australia are using their artwork to give us their view and understanding of the world.

Fantastic piece! I love the slow pace of it, and the shot of the painting is wonderful. Thanks for uploading and good luck with Slamdance!

Well done! I'd love to see the full documentary.
Perhaps in the full doc you've included info about the Australian gov't returning land including the national parks to the Aboriginal peoples and the Aboriginal philosophy about access to those areas.
My project LandForThePeople.org is close to launching. You might be interested in a blog post that I plan to post on the site about respecting sacred land. It is based on my travels in Australia and the disrespect for the land and its peoples I witnessed at places like Uluru.
