Ack. This makes me sick to my stomach. I'm not opposed to different views, but journalism shouldn't be so hateful.
-
Honestly though, did you expect anything else. One thing you can say about them is that they're predictable. If a a left-leaning individual saved a child from drowning, they would accuse them of interfering with the natural cycle of life, therefore bringing the world one step closer to Armageddon.

Let's be very clear: I'm not a fan of Fox News, and I find their nature of storytelling to be repugnant. But they have a right to quote their facts, just like we have a right to quote ours. (Conflicting reports on climate crisis, for example.) While I know I shouldn't be suprised, I guess I always expect better of people. I forget how hateful they can be.

The fox has always been a symbol for slyness and it didn't mind, but recently petitioned the court for a name change. Enough is enough!

Sigh! Fixed News at it again. You have to wonder where they get the justification to smear people in that manner.
-
Not only did they attack Gore, but also everyone else who won the prize in the past 10 years. I don't know too much about Kofi Annan, but siding agains the guy who said "suffering anywhere concerns people everywhere" seems just a little obtuse.

After some thought, I'm not surprised at the way they responded. Did we really expect the brain trust at Fox & Friends to send their warm congrats and concede that climate change is man made and not god's will (shoulder shrug)? They would lose their audience if they did. The echo chamber continues to echo and will until other news and information outlets start speaking to neo conservatives in a way that MAKES SENSE to them and is thought provoking but not insulting to their core values.

I'm sure if Gore had not won it all these people would say what a loser!
The hypocrisy is striking. -
In fact, nothing about Faux News is interesting. It's too predictable. The attacks on Al Gore are characterized by one other thing: fear! The right is scared to death of Gore: scared that he'll run and even more terrified that he'll win and bring their neocon revolution to a screeching halt. I still pray that Gore will run (i.e.: that he'll reclaim the office that was stolen from him.) If ever there were to be the dawn of a new era, that would be it. Imagine the elation that would sweep through the country and the rest of the world too: an inspired, responsible, intelligent U. S. President at last, after eight years of the Empty Smirk. People would dance in the streets ... and I'd be among them!

I don't know who's telling the truth anymore...
I don't think there's anything fair or balanced about any news network nowadays.-

Funny, I watched the Faux News reporters after watching the Onion News Network - I must say, there was very little difference.
