  • Wow-- people really do put shoes on their mini horses. Who knew?

    If I had one I would name it Sunshine or Star (after one of my Fashion Star Frillies I had a kid.... don't deny it-- all kids from the 80's had a Fashion Star Frilly.)

  • I would name mine Pinkie Pie after My Little Pony. Or maybe Spike.
    Frankly, I would take a helper monkey over a seeing-eye mini-horse any day. The mini-horses may wear shoes, but a helper monkey can wear diapers.

  • Wait a minute. I take offense to the mini-seeing-eye-pony folks describing dogs as "addicted to human affection." Addicted? Dogs are not junkies. They are simply less cold-hearted than miniature ponies.

  • Most of them wear tennis shoes. I'm guessing metal horse shoes wouldn't treat indoor floors too well. Also, somewhere on the pages it notes that you have to have TWO. One stays at home in a mini corral (GLEE!) so that the working one has companionship when it comes home.
