The last of the 2007 Nobel Prizes was awarded today, the prize in economics. The recipients were 3 Americans, being honored for their work on developing a theory that helps explain situations in which markets work and others in which they don't. One of the men was a 90 year old, the oldest recipient ever, who thought he would never receive the honor because those familiar with his work were dying off!
