In 2003, Dr David Kelly, a British UN Weapons inspector was named as the source of a BBC story that claimed the Government had "sexed up" a dossier on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction. Days later, he apparently commited suicide in woodland near his home.
A Liberal Democrat MP, however, has revealed that newly released evidence reports that the penknife Dr Kelly apparently used to slash his wrist did not carry his own fingerprints, adding weight to the theory that Dr Kelly was murdered and did not commit suicide.
Where's Jack Bauer when you need him?
