PS. Not represented in this tutorial is how to add LARGE files. they need to be uploaded in the same way, but look out for "Got a big file (above 200MB)? Use advanced upload for higher quality" next to the upload form.

Yippee and yay! Thanks for this. I fought a losing battle with uploading this a.m. but emerged victorious in the end.

Oh, one more thing... Don't know if this is a good place to ask this but you've obviously got the whole current.com thing down pat. ;) I noted that the music db's in legal music are taking a vacation day. Will they be up and running free and wild for us to harness and use at our command soon, hmm?

hey fridakahlolives-- glad this was helpful. and yes bgross i need music. iMovie, you know, has its limitations (as do i!).
frida-- all the music resources will be up and running soon- right now we're just sorting out first day adjustments. but stay tuned for updated 'make tv' stuff- the section will be a whole lot and more than current.tv provided for producers.

This is interesting but I am not able to see my OLD videos Hw do I get to a Item page that has all my uploads? Why does current TV can just add a VIDEO BOTTON so as soon as we sign up we can click and access to our videos and comments page directly! This has been a little bid anoying for me in your new site.

you can search the pod names, and then tag them to your name in order to make your own topic page with all your content! here's a link to mine, for an example:

Hey saskia, I uploded using video egg on the old sight and now I can't seem to get it to work. I use a Mac and uplaod .mov files. Is it just you have more traffic now and I can't get in on Priority? or is there a new format? Where can I find technical help? I have tried uploading a dozen times over the last week. Thanks, bsundancer

I have uploaded before using egg on current's old site without a hitch. I tried several times using egg and not using egg but both times nothing is uploaded.
Not using egg:
I click browse, click on the video I want to upload, a green bar appears 0%, it says uploading but nothing happens. the same thing happens when I try to upload a picture file as well.
Using egg:
I click on the file I want to upload, it plays the whole video, in a spastic way, as it uploads . when the video gets to the end nothing happens. (I am not pressing play and thinking that my movie is being uploaded).
There is something wrong with this new site and I know I am not the only one having issues uploading.
Can sombody please help me or at least tell me what's going on?
