Neat piece. My high school had a glass blowing class and I always regretted not taking it. Too busy with all those silly AP classes I guess. Sigh.

When I was a senior at RISD I was one of the few lucky non-glass-majors to be able to take the Hot Glassblowing studio class. I fell in love with it, and probably would have switched majors if I wasn't so close to graduating. I still miss it...expensive hobby though.

I just stumbled across this station a couple of weeks ago... and have been absolutly addicted to it...... and i was pretty surprised when i saw this pod from ithaca, ny... i live about 20 miles away from there, and absolutly love it there... and i must say, all my glass pipes are from there.... i cant ever bring myself to buying from any other place, because of the great quality of the pieces there.... if youve never been to ithaca, ny... i definetly recommend it! its always a fun, and interesting time!

Hey... nice video, very informative. I never worked with glass before, but after watching this .....I would give it a try. I bought glass work created by you, and it is beautiful, great work! Keep it up.

Awesome to see some talent from the lampworking community on Current TV! I'm also glad that art glass pipes are being shown on mainstream media with pride.
Props to Steve Gelb and the Buttermilk Studios crew for all their efforts to make lampworking accessable through teaching and sharing of ideas. -
Love the glass
