If you like movies like "Two-Lane Blacktop," "Smokey and the Bandit," and "Cannonball Run," you may be interested to know that illegal cross-country highway races are still alive and well. Alexander Roy, the driver on this latest, record-breaking venture, even pulled a few Burt Reynolds-worthy evasive techniques, like shielding his car from view of the Highway Patrol by driving to the right of a tractor trailer! What a country we live in!

Illegal Racing at it's FinestI am familiar with the 'ball races. I love it, it's like one of the most righteously bad ass illegal activity.

Wouldn't it be great to ride along with that guy? Now that'd make a great pod!
"Smokey and the Bandit" really is one of my favorite movies by the way... seriously.-
