The Chinese have served bird's nest soup, considered a delicacy, for hundreds of years. It's made using the nests of swift lets, or cave swifts. These avian homemakers regurgitate their gelatinous spit, creating a web-like super glue which forms their nests and attaches them to cave walls in Southeast Asia.

Ew. A bevvie of regurgitated bird spit does not sound good to me at all.

I'm pretty sure I second that.

i'll at least try it once... though the idea of where it comes from doesn't make it at all appetizing.

i had this once in Hong Kong. They told me that it's very good for you. I felt like they were playing a cruel trick on me.

Does anyone ever look at that and wonder if aliens ever do the same thing to us? "Tissue del la Mucus Salad"
