Al Gore Fans in Chicago 10/17/2007

This is a rough video of the national Draft Gore meetup in Chicago on October 17, 2007. It was staged across the street from where Al was speaking to the Chicago Economic Club at the Hyatt Hotel. We had tall letters spelling out "AL GORE 2008" and we had a bicycle (environmentally friendly) 5 foot by 4 foot billboard being ridden around the area in downtown Chicago. This video shows the letter signs, the bicycle billboard and has statements from the organizers and participants with their message to Al Gore. No one could miss us and our rally appeared in newspapers, TV and radio. We were there to make sure he knew what we wanted and we succeeded.

PS We were rained upon for much of the event. Our clothes were damp but our spirits certainly were not.

    Could have been a good pod, but there is not a story line and the camera should be more still...
    I'm an Al Gore fan though...

    In order to clean up the mess in the world, we need help cleaning up the mess in the great 'melting pot'.

    Al, please sir, give us another stir.

    The Current Chef needs to show the current quasi-chefs, how it's really done.

    Fix the great melting pot, then the melting world.

    I think the point is these folks stood in the Chicago rain with a huge sign and gave their opinions of what they felt about Al Gore running in 2008. That's the story, oragetropical, not cigarette butts on the beach.
