No one else WILL do it, Mr. Gore. You have to step up to the plate. America is counting on you. Let's not replace Checks and Balances with Power politics! Rule of Law, not rule of man.

Al is not the cure-all to America's problems. The entire govt. is corrupt and susceptible to manipulation by rich people, corporations and special interests. Money = Power = Control. sounds kind of cliche, but it's true. Sure, Al could help, but it's up to the rest of the 301 million of us who call ourselves Americans to unite and change the system.

shampton of course the People must take a huge part in the change, HOWEVER, if we have a leader who believes in the people, the people will have the power to make change. Unfortunately the current administration has taken many of our rights away, & what's worse, doesn't even recognize the fact our govt. is supposed to be of, by, & for the People at all. We must have a leader who understands & supports that for it to work effectively & Al Gore is the only viable candidate who totally "gets that" in theory and in practice. I encourage you to read The Assault on Reason.

Mr. Gore HAS stepped up to the plate and continues step up daily. Partisan politics is not the only or necessarily even most powerful venue for social contribution.
