Electronic eavesdropping is done by copying conversations with 'splitters' at the multi-plexor level in telephone central offices, so that every conversation can be recorded. Eavesdropping includes not only your telephone calls, but email messages, IMs, web-page visits, bank transactions, and God knows what else. Monitoring includes not just what you say, but the telephone 'overhead' which includes the time of the call, the length, location, and recipients information.

This falls under "unreasonable search and seasure"
Only with a well justifiable warrant, not 'we THINK a person is into something'.
Why is this not being challaged in the courts. Why does congress 'roll over and play dead'.
The present situation must end. -
reaching a police state? I pretty sure we're already there. Yes! take action, do more than join the electronic frontier foundation, thats just one thing that needs to be changed, change the government and more problems will be solved
