Please Help us Al, I feel like the stick guy banging his head against the wall. We need real change and leadership in this country. Others can take over for you and continue the work with the environment but only you have the experience and know how to fix Iraq, Health Care, the budget problems, our standing in the world. I read an article just two days ago written by a leader in Russia wanting you to run because he said he worked with you when you were VP and felt like he could trust you.

You said in a speech last April if you really believed in something not to give up. Well, I am not giving up on believing you will help us.

This is something else I don't understand. He's doing great works now. He's choosing not to run. Why are so many of you so against Hillary Clinton. Everything ya'll are asking for, she possesses. She's friendly with big business, yet devoted to the working class. The National Association of Letter Carriers just voted to endorse her. Just listen to her talk. She knows her stuff, heck of a tough b***h, seriously experienced, educated, enlightened.

Is there a problem out there with guys voting for a woman?!?!?!?!?!?! That actually says something about your manhood.

And we'd get Bill Clinton too???????? What a diplomat!!!!!!! I don't remember nothing but good times and peace when he was in charge. Now we're all running scared, of our government as much as terrorism.

Come on people!!!!!! Let Al do his thing for our benefit and let's ALL get behind the one person who can retake control of the White House and reverse some of the c**p that has been heaped upon us for the last 7 years. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

    Love and Peace

Great video. It very aptly describes how a lot of Americans feel. Saving the environment should be a top priority, but not enough Americans are going to voluntarily change their ways unless there are some carrot and stick incentives enacted into law, and so far Al's the only one I see who cares enough to make it a top priority. He's also the only one I see who I trust to have enough integrity to return our Constitution to us. Our system is very, very broken. I read this A.M. that Congressman Stark apologized for his remarks, which were right on the money but offended Republicans. Why did he have to apologize, especially when it sounded like his heart was not really into the apology. What threat or bribe is being held over these truthspeakers' heads to get them to toe the line? My guess is no campaign funds. That is so wrong and needs to change. Al Gore is the only one who gets that this is a huge problem. You can't have a dialog in Congress if you're constantly worrying about campaign funds.
Just a few of the reasons I believe Gore is the one we need now.

Of course I voted for Al Gore 7 years ago and would loved to have had the chance to vote for him again. Overall, he seems to be one of the most honorable, caring, intellectual politicians I can imagine. He definitely has a great deal to offer.

However, if he chooses not to run, but instead, put his energy into an extreme behind the scenes effort to help our great nation and the world, then maybe that's the way he could get the greatest amount accomplished.

Who's to say he wouldn't be given a serious post under a Democratic president that could allow him to focus on specific issues - like a Secretary of Environmental Affairs. Surely he and the Clintons have developed a close working relationship and friendship.

Remember, a President appointment very many influential people in many capacities. You know that many of those in the White House these past years have had as much, if not more, influence in various areas as Lil W (offense intended).

My ultimate goal in the up coming election is to not have a republican occupy the Presidency. Forgive me, but Democrats just like the South of long ago, often lose because of our independence. We have many worthy contenders. Republicans, on the other hand, become very one minded. We want to improve the lives of all our people. They want control.

I, personally, have been environmentally conscious as much as anyone I know for virtually my entire life. I am very conservative in my own life. But the fact of the matter is, this country as a whole, especially the money, does not, at this time, rank that high enough, it seems to me. Squandered resources are not easily recouped. Maybe he feels he's found his place where he can make the greatest impact. This is America.

Actually, who in their right mind would want to take over the horrendous mess Lil W has gotten this world into. They will be villainized to the hilt almost no matter which they go. Americans like to live high on the hog, or at least, very comfortable if possible and if the costs are hidden, it makes it easier to keep that mindset, especially when there is such putrid wealth in the hands of many now-a-days.

I just happen to think Hillary Clinton is the one in the Democratic Party that could accept being the villain and still be able to fire right back with all the fury of a Royal B***h and make it stick. And maybe she'll even, with a little help and backbone from other Dems, go after some of those sleaze ball, thieves that have been trying to destroy this country for so long now.

    Just my opinion of course.

Al is the man! He is the only one at this time for our country. He is not mired in the political quagmire that is afflicting others, such as Clinton and Obama. He is not in the pockets of the corporations.
There are two great running mates for him: either Obama or Edwards. I feel that Edwards would not go for second place on the ticket again, so Obama is the best choice.
How about "GO with Gore Obama!!!"

I believe that if Al Gore was actively in the running, Hillary would not be. And in that case there would be no doubt in my mind who to vote for.

But Al isn't on the ticket. And maybe there's a reason. It takes a seriously unique sort of person to really want to become the President and Al just seems to lack that extreme passion. Things are done way differently in politics than in the private sector and he seems to be making great strides in the private sector and getting some good things done.

I would really hate to elect, or worse, try to elect and fail, someone whose whole heart wasn't into it. Hillary is possessed yet very level headed. It's like in her blood. Please don't take away the focus of our most important goad - Get Those Republican Thieves Out Of The White House!!!!!!!!

I read something today in the Sunday paper about something a lawyer said. Something to the effect of "don't ask me a hypothetical question about some hypothetical situation". That's what this Al Gore thing is at this point. And it's taking precious resources away from our ultimate goal.

I love Al Gore. I sincerely hope that he goes on to do great things for us.

    Love and Peace

    Back To the Future......

“And I want to tell you what I tell them: Sometimes people who are very idealistic and have great dreams, as young people do, are apt to stay at arm's length from the political process because they think their good hearts might be brittle, and if they invest their hopes and allow themselves to believe, then they're going to be let down and disappointed.

But thank goodness we've always had enough people who have been willing in every generation to push past the fear of a broken heart and become deeply involved in forming a more perfect union. We're America. And we believe in our future, and we know we have the ability to shape our future.”
    -Al Gore 2000
“I will fight for you! Are you with me?” (Al)

Exactly what I said, just differently, Teamair!!

Maybe Al Gore knows things (he was the VP) that he knows he doesn't want to deal with again. I don't know why he's chosen not to run.

Would you want to run after you once gave it a good shot and the American people, one way or another, didn't elect you or didn't demand to a greater extent, justice. What? He's supposed to become president now and save all those sorry a----s who voted against him or didn't have enough faith in him 7 years ago, because NOW they realize they made a terrible mistake.

There's probably a dozen legitimate reasons he wouldn't want the job at this point. Al Gore tried to save us once from what he knew would happen and because we have so many idiots and illiterates in this country that believe the republican lies and believe that they too can someday become a real republican and share in all the loot and high life that come from suppressing the lower classes.

Go ahead and spend all your time and money for Al Gore and when he doesn't run and win and we wind up with another Lil W, then you'll be able to feel proud knowing that your vote (time and money) actually went to the republican candidate.

Kind of like a Ralph Nader. The republicans stick together, period. The Democrats need to always focus on the person who has the absolute chance to beat the republican, not their favorite. Maybe he feels he has a couple of deficits in areas that are way too important at this time in history.

Clean up man!!!! Yea, that's what Al Gore always dreamed of being. That's all the next president will be able to do, cleaning up the mess of the last 7 years plus 1 more.

Of course we need Gore to run. We need him desperately. I will be disappointed and angry if he doesn't, because he KNOWS what's at stake, and he has a chance to fix some of the mess.

One of the reasons he is not running, I am almost positive, is the outcome of the 2000 election. He was robbed. Somehow he got past that and has gone on to do important work -- but imagine the struggle. To be robbed in front of millions of people, not to be able to do anything about it. Humiliating. And worst of all: we as a nation did not rise up in outrage. And we should have. This is America. WE COUNT THE VOTES. We sat back and watched it happen, and so we are all at fault for the disasters of the last eight years.

After all the work it must have taken to move on, can't you see how frightening it would be to dive in again? Would you want to risk that kind of humiliation again? Because it could happen; who could be surprised if another election was stolen? We did nothing about the first (or the second) one.

I hope he overcomes his fear and runs, but I won't be surprised if he doesn't.
