What do you think of JD Drew from the Sox?

So the Sox just won Game 6 against the Indians! JD Drew has not had a single hit all season, and then he scores four runs from this one hit. Do you think Drew is worth all the money the Sox spent on him because of this one hit? Personally, I'm from Boston, and I'm a Sox fan so anything that helped to make them win last night is good enough for me!

I never appreciated the red sox or Boston fans until I spent a week in October in Boston and saw the infectious love for their teams Boston fans have and couldn't help but be drawn in. As for JD sure the four runs in one hit are why they pay him the big bucks. Sure he may have had an off year but its when it counts that counts. Had he done that times during the regular season and not this time in the playoffs it wouldn't have mattered as much.

some say more of a biz man than a ball player...J.D. was drafted in 1997 by the phillies and didnt want to play for them so he sat out that whole year...
as far as would i want him on my team...? he's a hell of a player that plays as an individual...definitely not a team player, but would take him in a sec! i'm a twin fan and would love a clutch player like J.D...-

I think whenever a team wins a big game in the playoffs the millions of dollars they pay out in salaries seem well-spent. J.D. doesn't seem to care whether or not his team wins, what his batting avg is, or whether or not he comes through for the Sox. But If I were making $15mill, then maybe I wouldn't care either?
And If you're lucky enough to get that much in a career like baseball -- thats awesome, and something a player like J.D. Drew should be happy with, not indifferent. -
And the Sox move on to the World Series!

J.D. Drew is not someone I would want on my team, which is why I am glad that his ass is gone from the Dodgers and somebody else is paying that ridiculous salary. He doesn't care about anything besides the money.
That said I think Drew is perfect for the BoSox as they are all about the money too and can pay big $$$ for a guy like Drew or Lugo (wtf) to be average. As far as my team I would take is little brother before suiting that smug bastard up with my colors. -
JD Drew owes someone a lot of money in refunds - is it the team? Is it the fans? He's easily one of the most overpaid, overrated players of the last 10 years. This is one of the guys that should only be signed to heavily incentive-laden contracts. Guaranteed he'll be traded within a year with the Sox agreeing to pay the bulk of his salary just to be rid of him.
