Bryan Marshal and Miranda Jones are addicted to exercise. Both work out six days a week, pushing their body beyond it's limits and causing serious injuries.

It would be useful to explicitly make the connections between exercise addiction, other types of addictions, and eating disorders in this video. You might talk about physiological mechanisms of addiction, personality traits of people prone to addiction (which include not having an adequate variety of ways to deal with stress) and personality traits of people prone to eating disorders (over-exercising is one symptom of bulimia, though it is also seen in anorexia).
All in all - this is an interesting video for me because I teach at a university and have recently been coming across more and more students who fit this profile.

i understand the importance of health, but if your entire day(s) are spent in a gym, when you go home at night and look in the mirror at your fabulous body, is it still that gratifying...i think i know few of these types?!
i guess it is better than being a compulsive binge eater-

I work out almost every day i can.. but only for an hour or so. My reason is that I'm male, 6'2", and 150-some lbs. I don't see these peoples' reasons... they're def addicted

There is so much more to it than perfect abs...or really perfect abs...

exercise is great, but if you're injuring yourself because you do it too much, it's definitely a sign to slow down. balance is the key to life.

Why don't they just put all that into something useful? Become gym trainers, coaches, hell go into the olympics. If it's so important to them it should integrate into their lives somehow other than just bringing about a sixpack.

I never really thought that an addiction to exercise was even possible, but this video really opened my eyes. I honestly can't imagine spending hours upon end at a gym; I think I'd go crazy. I like to exercise and all, but I like having a social life even more. I honestly hope Bryan and Miranda continue to snap out of it, if only for their own safety.

I didn't think it was possible..
Exercise makes you feel good.. but not like this.. -
You only get one shot at life. Be in shape but don't disfigure your life doing it.
