  • I had never even heard of a giant rabbit! How weird.

  • It figures. You genetically engineer a giant rabbit, and that zany Kim Jong Il has to come along and eat it...typical.

This is one of my favorite films of all time. It features giant killer rabbits taking over a rural village. This is priceless B movie entertainment. Believe it or not, it's actually somewhat scary.
    Aaaaaaaah
  • It took me a few click-throughs to various articles before I could believe this was not a hoax. I'm still not sure I DO believe it, but I've made room for it in my personal universe of possibility.

  • You can feed a great many more starving North Koreans by growing vegetables and cereals than by growing the fodder needed to feed those giant rabbits. The amount of animal protein from the rabbits that you can get per square mile of fields is about one-tenth of the amount of vegetable protein that you can get from vegetables and cereals, with the added benefit of fiber and many vitamins and other nutrients that rabbit meat simply doesn't contain.

  • Someone should engineer giant cows.

  • "Someone should engineer giant cows."...

Considering the fact that cattle's burps and flatulence are one of the major contributors to the greenhouse effect, and that so much land is wasted for feeding cattle, I don't think that's a good idea at all. :)

  • Oh my, that's one of the weirdest things I've ever seen! I've come to the point where nothing surprises me anymore - but this is something else!

  • Oh, I see your point about not having giant cows. What if we engineerd Giant.......um...fish?

  • It doesn't look that big in the video. I think the way the photo is composed exaggerates the size. They should engineer mini cows. Little household pets that you can slaughter and eat. Imagine those tiny glasses of fresh milk . . .
