As a fan of Anime, I've become a fan of J-Pop or Japanse Pop. In doing so, I came across an artist named "hide Matsumoto". After looking in to his work, I found out that he had been dead for several years from an apparent suicide. I decided to look in to it and create a short documentary about the subject. As I began to research, I found out that several young fans had tried to kill themselves when the news of his suicide became public. This is just one look in to a much larger issue of teen suicide that runs rampant in Japan to this day. Please take a few minutes and watch the short and let me know what you think :)
