Artists walk among usbringing your coffee, handing you a book, programming your computer. art/work is a glimpse into the lives of four Austin artists. They discuss the joys and hardships of creating art while working a day job.

Nice pod. Something a lot of us can relate to, I'm sure!

This was really beautifully done. I love hearing the artists' own voices over the scenes of their day to day lives. The music choices were perfect as well. It seems though, that some scenes were a bit out of focus. Not sure if that was for effect, or if it was just caused by video compression.
I loved hearing how positive these artists were about working full-time jobs. Most artists I know are desperately trying to "do" their art full time and to get out of their full-time jobs so it was interesting to hear a different perspective.-

A great look into the dual lives of artists. I always wonder how best to support my art habit!

Who made this film? He's very talented!

Saw it at SXSW in Austin and enjoyed it. I remember the director said he worked at Sears while filming this during the screening's Q&A section...Hope he's still chasing his directing dreams.
