But does frying an egg on a sidewalk actually work? The Ontario Science Center tries to find out in this vid.

Would that block raise your blood pressure?
-
Roialtee..... maybe, but mostly if you're prone to hypertension........ i'm about a hundred pounds overweight, use salt on everything in sight, and generally run a BP of 120 over 70 or less.... all animals need salt and tend to self-limit unless there's some other imbalance happening.... cows and deer love salt licks.... blocks of salt left in fields for them.... never heard of hypertension hurting them, have you??? :).... and yes, the salt might temporarily raise your blood pressure, and you'd be a fool to try it if you're under a doctor's care, but the egg in contact with the salt block surface might not pick up as much NaCl as it would when you're done jiggling your salt-shaker over it....... :))))))))))))))))))
