Atop a the hills of Pacific Heights, on the grassy knowles of Alta Plaza Park, there is Pug Sunday. Every first Sunday of the month, from around 1-4pm, the park is swarming with TONS of pugs just running about, getting in each other's business, and doing what dogs do best (i.e. please see above demonstration, specifically dark pug sporting cowboy hat).
I'm from SF and happened to stumble upon Pug Sunday one day when I was walking through the park at the right time. It's definitely a sight to be seen, so I'd encourage anyone in the area on November 4 to check it out. Most likely you'll see me there in a few years. If you notice a redhead calling out to an anoymous pug I plan on naming Rufus, that's me.
