As one of the initial purveyors of 'viral fame', where is Ghyslain "Star Wars Kid" Raza? The last the media reported, he settled out of court on a lawsuit seeking $351,000 in damages for the leak of his Darth Maul double-edged light saber stunt. He settled out of court in April 2006 for an undisclosed amount. Did this video leak and subsequent international fame defeat this young Canadian? Is he the first real human tragedy in the instant fame garnered by pure 'reality internet TV' or are we oversimplifying a high school prank. There is only one vague interview with Gyslain that sheds little light on a kid quashed by instant, unwanted fame.
