Looks to be a good film. The more the message gets out, the better off we'll be. I don't know about "funny" though. The part near the end about bio-diesel looking like honey or a good beer was humorous, but the rest of it was scary. Laughably so...but I think there really are way too many people who still don't think global warming is a real threat. It's very discouraging and worrisome to me. How do we change this?

This looks like a great film. There are a lot of really ignorant people out there, but global warming is real. One thing I have been thinking about is the new hybrid cars, not just the bio-diesel. The new cars are using a lot more copper than gasoline or diesel, and I recently finished a documentary about a small town in the cloud forests of Northern Ecuador that lives in resistance to copper mining. It is a town of 270 people that have been successful in driving out two large international companies, Bishimetals in the 90's and Ascendant Copper has been asked to stop, but not told to leave by the Ecuadorian Government. So as Americans start buying cars that are less harmful for the environment copper companies are trying to cut down some of the last protected forests in the world, which will contribute further to global warming. It is a really tangled web that we have woven. What do you think? and if you want to check out my film and the trailer go to http://www.clearfilms.org/html/when_clouds_clear.html
or www.myspace.com/clearfilms for more information and current updates. Great job on this film I will make sure to see it.-

Looks entertaining. It's not what I'm looking for, however. What I'm looking for is a movie called "Solutions". I'm tired of being scared and knowing that there are "unbelievers" out there, as well as those in our government who must know better. I missed seeing Gore when he was in Albuquerque, but I'm told that he has retooled his slide show to emphasize ideas and solutions. This is what we need to hear and see. Humans are not, necessarily, a bad thing for the planet. We have been a force for good. This is a huge problem; fortunately, there are a lot of us to tackle it, if only we knew how. I'm planting trees on my little acre, and I have solar panels, but there must be more I can do, and others whose work I can support. If nothing else, Gore could put that kind of info up on his page here on current.
As dear Vonnegut said, "We've been sick for a long time, but we're better now, and there's work to do." Where's my foreman?-
