Be careful of what you post on your profile. By using only the information on a Facebook profile, a group of BBC1 Watchdog journalists were recently successful in opening a bank account and credit card. Yikes!

Well of course! there's no better outlet for identity theft unless you're planning on running up to some guy on the street and shouting your social security & PIN at them. It's common sense.

i remember back when facebook started and life was much more simpler. i can't get rid of my profile - it's a part of me...i just can't believe people can do this to you with simple hometown and date of birth information!
