This is interesting because we need Al to step up and do what's right for the world. Make Barak your running mate, and do your damndest to undo all the terrible things team Bush have done over the last two administrations.

  • I agree Al can move mountains outside the administration (look at Jimmy Carter!), but I love this sincere plea... the nation is crying out for help.

  • Thank you raoul! Excellent, heartful, and truthful! Al, it is time! We can not wait until the next election, 4 more years is too long. We must act now and no other candidate is as dedicated to making the changes needed as YOU are. The people are speaking Al, this is a moral imperative. If we have done what we can in our own lives to make changes, we also must vote for leaders who will make changes... that is why we NEED to vote for YOU!!! We need a commitment from you Al (you told us back in April to hound our leaders for a commitment http://current.com/items/85396601_al_gore_on_green_ener..., so give us a commitment!).

    Americans who care and want to save this democracy cry out to you to be our next President. You, and you alone, possess the credentials, credibility and experience to lead this nation out of the Cheney/Bush quagmire and insanity. Should you desire the Presidency? I know for certain that, if I were in your shoes, I would not want to step up to that plate. But this is a matter of survival--for this nation as well as for the entire world. Please step uo to the plate and we all will give you our wholehearted support. Do it, Mr. Vice President. Please do it!

  • I wish Al Gore WOULD step up. We need him. I do understand why he wouldn't want to be President. Why would anyone want the mess that Bush will be leaving behind? I also know how important his work on the climate change is to all of us. I just think that he can do the best for the planet as the President and, save this nation along the way. I will work for him if he runs and, either way, I will do my bit for the planet.
