The Bush Administration does have blood on their hands in a big way! They need to be stopped.
-
My hat is off to the women who had the guts to challenge this war mongering administration. But why only one woman? Where are the young people, the students, who wil inherit this country and the awful legacy that Bush and his cronies have created for us?
Why are they not protesting? We desparately need this kind of personal protest to make the administration realize that they are badly out sync they are with the majority of Americans. This will also shake congress and the newsmakers out of their torpor of faithfully acting on and reporting pre-digested "news" from the White House without serious challenge on their part as the veracity of such "news".
As a young person you have the freedom to act boldly and must use it because otherwise your generation will inherit an America the is a mere grotesc carricature of what this country really stands for. -
Haven't the last few years proved that sock-puppet protests don't do much?

Code Pink keeps getting more creative and more ballsy. I respect them and appreciate them for all they do.

Unfortunately Condi's expertise in Russian history and recent Putin behavior does not seem to give her a very secure position in dealing with him. On the other hand, she has subjected her own more informed opinon to Bush's bully instincts....in the meantime, as of today, relative to Iran, she seems to relish dishing out some of her own venom.....and she is calling this "diplomacy".....sanctions are diplomacy......I need to have this clarified....I thought the first manner of diplomacy was rational discourse as you sit down to air and resolve your differences.....could I be wrong....could she be correct....????
-
I keep waiting for Bill Gates or Warren Buffett, or George Soros or someone powerful to stand up and say NO MORE. WE WILL NOT STAND BY AND WATCH YOU TAKE US INTO ANOTHER WAR WITH IRAN. YOU HAVE LIED SO CONSISTINGLY THAT WE DON'T BELIEVE A THING YOU SAY. SOME PATRIOT MUST SPEAK UP NOW BEFORE WE LOSE EVERYTHING WE HAVE EVER STOOD FOR. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hated this! No matter what ,this not the way ..when I see this I know children watch. We teach them not to play fair ,respect. They do not learn to solve their or our problems with wise decisions, education and work .Morals, fairness remember ?l . Why do we not respect one another .?? Make a difference in the our nation .Who is elected and who is selected to give wise counsel to our president and our nation....When do we get past this kind of childish ,stupid behavior . Is there anyone that can stand there ground without flake blood? . Trust me we do not need flake blood to make a point . How do I know who funded this and what their motives are???? .Making a difference and change should not make anyone including myself to have to get in the gutter or garbage with them ...

I keep waiting for the rest of the World to stop laughing at us. Twig, as Bush is known in some parts of Texas campuses just as Ann Richards once noted "George can't help it, he was born with a golden foot in his mouth". George's attitude could get us blown out of the water and yet, we still allow him to try to get revenge for Iraq's attempt to kill his daddy. It's time to kick his cronies and himself out of the UNITED STATES or at least get him for his illegal wiretaps on U.S. citizens. Wake up folks terror cells are here and they probably came thru Mexico or in those containers of contaminated goods from China.

War protests are the only way we can get people to see what other people feel. Passion- anxiety- anger. What can a common person do when their elected officials do not understand how awful this is? And what is worse is that we will continue the blood letting until Americans realize that combat is not diplomacy.

Everything about this picture is an awesome dichotomy -- the pleading eyes set in the enraged face of the older-looking white woman with no make-up and wild hair; the impassive, impeccably made-up face of Condi Rice as she stares straight ahead. What a great juxtaposition. The role reversal -- the white lady is a vocal vulnerable minority (those willing to show up for peace); the black woman has all the power. Should get a Pulitzer Prize.
