About 70% of the food we eat contains genetically modified ingredients and is not labeled. The biotechnology industry is spending $50 million a year to convince us that this technology is our only hope for feeding the world and saving the environment. Family farmers are disappearing at an astonishing rate as people continue to go hungry both here and abroad.

Using hilarious and disturbing archival footage and featuring interviews with farmers, scientists, government officials and activists, FED UP! presents an entertaining, informative and compelling overview of our food production system from the Green Revolution to the Biotech Revolution and what we can do about it.

The movie is broken into four parts, averaging 20 minutes each.

Thank you for bringing this up, hopefully more of us are going to pay attention because It's sad that this kind of news are ignored for the vast majority of people in this country, every time that I bring this subject in a conversation, people shows little or no interest (gossip/drugs,gambling,etc is more important) that this matter. WAKE UP AMERICA, we are probably the only hope to stop this nonsense, they are killing us slowly and it seems that nobody cares. If you don't believe me start reading, get informed, investigate, do something to clarify this but don't ignore it, We are suppose to protect our kids, what they are doing is going to affect specially the next generations. It is not a choice, it is our moral obligation. YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT

I agree. My kids cannot eat any foods that have dyes, preservatives or other chemicals in them. My son has autism. He did not start speaking until I quit giving him cow's milk. He started talking like three days later. I don't eat anything in a box or bag anymore. It is just not worth it.

If you have a garden, a yard, a patio, a terrace, a balcony, grow your own. Explore this website and you'll find out how easy it is. Use only organic seeds and let some of your crop go to seed for further planting. You'll save a heck of a lot of money and have healthy and wholesome food for yourself and your family.

I was a past farmer and the government put us out of business telling us what to plant & when to plant. If you have any ground.....learn how to grow your own produce... it's not that hard.

The more questionable thing is why companies like Monsanto can sell what they do, and the FDA stays mum hiding behind the fact that there is inconclusive evidence. Just another reason of the millions why we need campaign finance reform

    its really scary because
not only is the food genetically enhanced,,,,
the seeds and the fertilizer are trademarked with a short lifespan so the farmers have to continue to buy food

    just plain wrong
