Aww, cute mouse.
Of course I prefer the lethal yet adorable version--cats.

this is a great idea, but what do you do with the mouse after you catch it?
-
too much work to get the mouse.

i love them all

Genius! That mouse in a light bulb one is just awesome! And also mouse in a bottle! Very cool, if I needed to catch a mouse I would definitely consider something like this.

Blove - I'd imagine you would take the mouse outside and blindfold him so he can't get his bearings, then spin him around 3 times and let him go.

I wish I'd have thought of this when we had a mouse problem last summer!! Instead we had the messy problem of wounding and then throwing into a box, and giving him bread. We later threw the whole box in the dumpster. I'm sure he's meeting up with the glass mouse now.

Great ideas but I hope no one serves me drinks after catching mouses with their glassware.

I'm with you sgwhites. I have two very beautiful mouse catchers on stand-by in case I develop a mouse problem. In the meantime, they are doing a bang-up job on spider removal.

I've been trying to figure out a way to get rid of mice without killing them for the longest. But based on the comments below that post, it seems that there really is no good way to catch a mouse without harming it; everything has its pluses and minuses.

When I was younger, we had tile floors, so instead of a stand up vacuum we vacuumed with a shop-vac, and we never had many mice but sometimes a little field mouse would get in the house and my dad just vacuumed them up with the shop-vac and then set them free outside!
