... "The Dream Act was his only hope for a future". They are the progeny of illegal immigrants who make it into California colleges. They are particularly impressive because they've had so many obstacles to overcome. Precisely the kind of talent California needs to succeed in the global economy.

    • There are approxiamately 15 million illegal immigrants in the United States. A large percentage of these are children, who go through our public education system only to be disappointed with the realization that although they have been living here for 4+ years they can not contribute to society. What's up with that?
