There are certain people I'd like to fine for not living up to my expectations. Wish I could do that. I'd be sorta like a citizen's arrest. I wouldn't charge much - maybe $5, but the point would be made.

I think I like this idea. All the money these athletes make, they could spare a few bucks. Why are they making millions of dollars if they're not even going to entertain us with a good match. Talk about being a brat.

yep, fining guys like Bonds for not bothering to run 90 feet 3 or 4 times a game might be a good idea...

Tori - the Bonds firing and lack of punishment for not failing a drug test aren't really related.
Personally, I wish all athletes pay was based on performance. I love this idea of fining professional athletes that don't give it their all.

complaining that he was "fired", when he was never once punished for his "flaxseed cream". He should be grateful the U.S. doesn't have a policy of fining athletes as well!
